Etsy Finds of the Day

One of my favorite places to browse on the web is Etsy. I adore it!

I so want just about everything from Marie's Cosy Cushions. Here's some of my favorites...

For a while now I haven't been wearing much of my jewelry because it was in clumps... in boxes. So, I badly wanted a jewelry box and started my search on Etsy. I was still looking to find one that I wanted and my parents bought me a beautiful standing jewelry box for Christmas.

Here is one from Wire Woods that I thought was interesting. Not really a box but more to hang on the wall. I would still like to buy it just to hang on my wall for a cool looking piece of art.

I also found a bracelet, a ring and earrings that I would love to have.

Last but not least, these Matchbox Sets from Little Shannon's are just too cute! Perfect for small gifts!

Christmas 2010

We had a very busy (but nice) Christmas this year! Of course, the most important part was that the kiddos had a great one.

Every year we visit with two families... my side and hubbies. On Christmas Eve we went to my aunt's home. We (or they) decided not to exchange gifts this year. My grandmother was put in a nursing home this year and it's been a "sore" subject in the family. So, we ate and watched the kids open a few gifts.

On Christmas Day (after the kids opened their gifts from us and Santa) we drove to my mother-in-laws house to visit and exchange gifts. We ended up staying the night and driving home the next day. Luckily, traffic wasn't too bad and we only saw one wreck.

The only thing... I won't eat sandwich's for a long time... lol. We had them for 3 days in a row. Not complaining... they were delish... but...

I usually end up making a few gifts which makes my Christmas a little more exciting. I enjoy making them but I always worry that they may not like the gift they get. This year, I ended up painting 4 signs, putting together 2 baskets, and sewing 4 towel dresses.

Here are a few pics of some of the things I made. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of all of them.
