Functional Friday Linky Party #25

I was so excited about my tray and metal cage candle holder that I just had to give it a makeover... immediately!
It started out like this...

After applying scrapbook paper (I originally wanted blue, but didn't have any on hand) and very impatiently letting it dry...
I distressed the edges of the tray a bit and also the paper... big mistake!...
No worries! I broke out my handy dandy paint and got to work...
A dab here and a swirly dab there... ahhhh... better. Kind of leathery/pan of brownies. Don't ya think?!
Here's the centerpiece pre-tray...
And a couple more post tray...

Let's get started with Functional Friday!

If you do not post a link to my party within your post or on your blog, I will not feature you.  Each project/recipe that is featured will be pinned to my Pinterest boards!

Here are a few submissions from last weeks link up that made me want to get all functional and stuff...

I'd be the bestest Mom evah if I would make this too cool DIY Door Couch for my kiddos. Shared by At Home With K.
I adore these Flower Arrangements in Vintage Tins shared by First Come Flowers!
I would never...evah leave this backyard area shared by Little House in the Big D!
I'm loving the colors in this Spring Wreath that was shared by Made in a Day! Too cute!

Were you featured? You can grab the button below...

Thank you so much to everyone that participated last week!

Now, it's time for you to link your goodies!

You can link up by:
* Linking to the web address of your blog post, not your blog home page (please).
* Adding a title.
* Selecting a photo.
* Grabbing the button below and adding it to your post or sidebar. It helps to keep this party going!
* You don't have to, but it would be great if you could share this party on your Facebook or Twitter page.
* Please link your craft projects, DIY projects, recipes, tutorials, housewife-y or homemaking posts. Feel free to link as many as you like!

Please visit a few other links and leave a comment.
