Post It Note Holder Craft Project

I came across a tutorial for a Post It Note Holder to give as a Teacher Appreciation Gift. It was too cute and I couldn't wait to make my kiddos one for their desk.

Using a plastic frame from the dollar store, some scrapbook paper, embellishments, post it notes, and double sided sticky tape... you can make this cutie too!

It's quick, easy, inexpensive and makes a great last minute gift!

Here's how I made the kiddos holders...

Using the insert from the dollar store frame as a guide, I cut out a piece of scrapbook paper and slid it into place.

Added a few embellishments and attached the post it notes with my tape. You can use hot glue to hold the post it notes in place (like the original) but I didn't want to go through the hassle. :)

I went more basic on my son's holder. I didn't want to make it too much for him.

I also didn't attach the ribbon on my daughter's post it note holder. I just simply tied it in a knot in the back. This way, I can change everything to match her room... if need be.
